As I understand it, the Deftland project was basically just to pile up many years worth of dredging material in one spot and let nature redistribute it down the coast.
I’m interested in the idea of continuous micro dredging using renewables to power small motors that run continuously to maintain shoreline of small islands, or augment artificially constructed islands. Are you aware of any pilot projects for things such as this?
