Why does Trump get tested daily and Trump says if we want a test we can get one but tests are not available to the general public?

Because the FDA prevented private companies from developing tests for a month and a half, only issued one permit to make tests (to the CDC) and then the CDC issued tests which were literally contaminated with COVID. All the while Germany had a decentralized testing system (and developed the WHO test) and South Korea issued all permits to all interested parties within one week.
