That number is off by a factor of 10 if we use SK or Australia as a benchmark. It’s more like 1000 tests per new case per day. And you also need a border wall.

Run that math and back-figure, at our current testing rate, how low the cases would need to be. It’s like 150 per day nationwide. Lockdowns won’t get us there.

China has also shown us that they are repeatedly lying and doing their best to control the narrative. I don’t think anything out of China is trustworthy. I know their neighbors Vietnam are not being truthful. They claim to have controlled the infection and have no new deaths, but word on the ground is that in fact they have concentration camps set up for the infected. That doesn’t sound pleasant.
