Every gun show I’ve ever been to has required that you go over to a NICS background check booth, get your check paperwork done there, and bring it back to the table where you want to buy your gun. And I live in a very red state.
I would like to know, specifically, which states do not require this, before engaging with the idea that there is a “gun show loophole” at all. At the minimum, I’m under the impression it should be renamed the “peer to peer sales which aren’t actually at gun shows” loophole.
