I have been a tremendous advocate for UBI for a very long time, specifically as part of an overall reform of both taxation and wellfare. I think you could even use it to get rid of minimum wage.

The only compelling case I’ve heard made against it was by Jordan Peterson, which goes back to the “lack of meaning in your life” issue, and I always panned that.

I am not ready to change my position yet, but I am definitely reevaluating my priors.
