How do I know that we are sick? WE LOVE OUR GUNS MORE THAN WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN!!!

I have never met anyone who loves their guns more than they love their children. This idea that anyone loves their guns more than their children is fake. It’s a rhetorical trick.

As is the idea that me getting rid of my firearms will save any children. My firearms will never be used to kill children, so someone buying them back, or seizing them, or similar, will save no children.

And since the measures bandied about by the left related to guns wouldn’t actually solve anything, those measures are laid bare for what they actually are. They’re not about the children at all. They’re a culture war attack on “the other.” It’s a psychological thing.
