I reference lead-crime hypothesis in my article as a possibility, and link Mother Jones. :) I find the theory intriguing, and the numbers compelling, but my intuition just can’t align with the numbers yet. It’s definitely something worth paying attention to.

As wretched as it is to say, this Flint Michigan debacle might prove to be the kind of controlled experiment that you’d need to prove something like that.
