It is not beyond the pale to ask, as I do, Why? Why is it so important to destroy so many of the so called pillars of our democratic republic?

I think these are valuable questions. Where you and I differ, I think, is in ascribing them to some kind of central plan. I think what we’re seeing is an emergent phenomena, where the tail is wagging the dog and each wag makes a few pennies so the dog obliges.
