In practice it’s all well and good saying how it ‘should’ be a meritocracy and if humans were perfectly rational then I’d agree. But one day you wake-up and you realize that nothing is like that and then Mr. Peterson is either too stupid or too far in to turn his opinion around and continues to poison the conversation.

I won’t speak for Peterson, but I think Peterson’s response would probably be “lead pipes are a problem we fix by fixing the pipes.”

And I realize lead pipes are just one example. And if you bring up another example, I suspect Peterson would say, “that’s also a problem, and we fix that problem by identifying and fixing it.”
