Judging by your paragraph about Medium payouts, it sounds like your share of my subscription is considerably less than a dime.
I’m new to this thing, so I don’t really know how it works, but as I understand it, if you never clap for anyone else I’ll get more than a dime. Maybe a dollar.
I’d like to run some experiments on how much of folks’s subscriptions actually gets passed through to writers. I looked around and was unable to determine if anyone had actually done that, but it would seem to me to be a pretty easy experiment to control with a pair of dummy accounts.
