Manipulation and domination are both clearly spectrums, but to say “women are always to be believed” is to ignore half of the problem with human gender dynamics. Good men believe good women. Bad women pretend to be good women. Unfortunately that’s how this works.

To put this in perspective, marching down the street with signs that say “Believe Women" is just as triggering as marching down the street with signs that say “Trust Men.” They’re roughly equivalent positions.
