SJ is kind of eating itself right now, quite honestly. I’m mostly curious about the timing of its collapse.

I’ve also thought quite a bit recently about the factor human nature plays in this. It seems to me as if SJ was crowdsourced by atheists, inadvertently, to fill the gap in their human brains that religion normally occupies. I think the folks fighting against SJ right now, which would include many of the rationalists and the Intellectual Dark Web types, haven’t thought past the fall of SJ should they even win. If it falls, that need is still there, and that vacuum will still end up being filled by something else crowdsourced to fill the hole.

If they were smart, they’d be looking to construct something else that would fill that gap more to their liking. I may write about this on a future date.
