The right does not get to claim sole ownership of attacks on evolution anymore. The attacks on it from the left are far more alarming and damaging, because they come from within the academy itself.

Don’t misconstrue this as an excuse for the right. I find the right/left whataboutism game to be pretty useless, being someone who identifies neither as left nor right.
