Without some kind of numerical weighting system, I can’t really apply your premise that some lives are worth more than others to the data, so it’s of no real use to us.
What I can say, given the numbers, is that there is no possible weighting system that would put kids shot in a school, which amount to about 10 per year on average, to anywhere near the same relative importance as black males shot in inner city violence, which beat that number daily. So quit talking about school shooters. If you value suicides less than homicides, that’s your business, but at least get the homicide numbers right. I go into them a little in the third article.
